Mark Carney Elected Prime Minister of Canada

Late on election night, it appears Canada has chosen Mark Carney to lead the country. It does remain to be seen whether the Liberal Party of Canada will have a majority government as the Progressive Conservative Party appears to be hot on their heels as polls continue to submit their results. The government will be Liberal, but it remains to be seen whether this will be a minority government with a Conservative official opposition.
